In order to understand recursion, you first need to understand recursion.

@bh, not sure what that means.

Does that mean that you only work several hours here and there, or that you have different shifts, or that you feel that you might get the sack?

My offer is a project, but not big enough to be an official position.

Besides: if its to pay by the hour, the usa is probably ranking between the most expensive in the world, so I rather go for east european countries (with good references).

My offer is: I had an idea of a little software, that I believe has an enormous potential for making profit. I don't mind to speak to you about it, if you potentially might have the ambition to get a nice cut (percentage).

If this might be your thing, pm me.

PS: I wouldn't be surprised if not, as 99.9% of programmers have been programmed (apparently) only to accept payment by the hour, even if working on the most lucrative idea, and never to hope on a breakthrough of a program.

@ bahayman: you did write
Software Engineer some posts back (on this thread).

Never mind, if an other genius programmer is interested in making a lot of $$$$$ contact me please.

Or if someone is willing to invest money in a project, that's also an option, although I might prefer doing it myself.

Or maybe the programmers just don't think the idea is as hot as you do...

Here we have the team again.

Some programmers, before even saying what's its about to know the different options, are immunized against it.

And whyme, if you really are a programmer, you know I'm right.

That some programmers are immunized? yes.
that 99% are programmed that way no.

Programmers need to feed their families just like anybody else. They can't always work for free.

not for free, if you hear of a nice idea that you could work on it say two hours a day, because you believe it has huge potential, its not called working for free.
