Same with lawyers, if it's a sure thing or class action they'll work for the future potential.
Otherwise pay upfront!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

With limited budget, I will get, maybe the app of the ground, but to market it heavily etc it cost money. A lot. And nothing is guaranteed...

Yet you seem to think that programmers always have the money (time = money) to invest but they'll never take a risk because they've been programmed to only work by the hour...

Same with lawyers, if it's a sure thing or class action they'll work for the future potential.

I would say it's the same in any field.
who would work without pay in any field unless they believed the future payout will make it worthwhile?

Same with every field? For an electrician or plumber such an options isn't really there.

I've spoken to many many programers and the likes, and they well over 95% confirmed my point.

If you want to feel that you are right. So be it.

DDF Demographics [Occupation]
« Reply #105 on: August 05, 2011, 11:56:28 AM »
In light of a thread from the beginning of summer regarding the demographics (age, hometown, martial status, kids?, etc.) - http://www.dansdeals.com/forums/index.php?topic=7687.0, I was wondering what the occupational demographics were for DDF readers.  I was also hoping that this thread could be a basis for the readers to get closer, as well as, to receive occupational specific advice, or simply lead to friendly occupational specific conversations., etc.  Once people start replying with their occupations, people could PM them regarding something in particular etc.

Anyway, this is the first thread I'm starting, and I certainly hope I get a positive response from the fellow readers.

I'll start off then.  I'm a 2nd year medical student.

Lol, so much for that.  Thank you though.  I assumed that since the DDF Demographics thread only began at the end of May and that too by Dan, no one had venture into occupations.  My bad.   I'll reply in that thread now.
