It has to be unlocked, period. Of course there should be some rulles about posting in that thread and whoever will not comply with the rules will be banned. I would say that once you have a price mistake thread and 5 members with a certain amount of posts agree that its indeed a price mistake then it can be posted in that thread.

the issue is: whenever there's a glitch or similar, everyone's immediately booking flights and you don't remember to RTM that thread

We want to cancel as the wife will be in her eight month at time of flight and its a bad idea.

Best way of canceling?

Spoke with ONETRAVEL, they want to charge $100 a ticket to cancel. Also called Emirates, cant do anything.
I booked with Amex, is that my only option?

Well you are well past the 24hr cancellation period so they have every right to charge you a cancellation charge. Don't think there is anything Amex can do except you dispute it which you would probably lose.

Get a doctors note that's it's not safe for the wife to fly then. That should get you covered under the Amex travel protection.

Really? Thought that only covers conditions not known when booking.

Call Emirates, tell them that you got an email that the ticket you booked was a price error and the email says that you have to call in and have them cancel the ticket. (of course for no charge)

Just called and told them that, Emirates said they cant touch the booking, only the agency.
