So how long will it be until we find out that better looking women got an easier conversion path
What I don't get why? There are much easier and legal ways to see naked women
"In the realm of Orthodox Judaism, Kesher is on the progressive side. It has all-women study and prayer sessions in which women can read from the Torah, and girls in the congregation can celebrate their bat mitzvahs. Women and men can give sermons at services on Saturday mornings, and women for years have served on the board of directors. Like all Orthodox synagogues, Kesher has a mechitza, a barrier separating men and women in the sanctuary, and women do not lead prayers in mixed-gender settings or count in the 10-person quorum required for a prayer service."from the WP article
He probably knew many of these women quite well.
I still don't get it
Is that the rachav gemara? Not relevant
My husband, Rabbi Ezra Y. Schwartz , and I just returned from carefully going through the KAJ (Breuer's) Mikvah to look for concealed cameras and recording devices. We were joined by a husband and wife from the Breuer's community who are deeply involved in the mikvah and its maintenance. As I am a regular user of the Washington Heights Mikvah, my stake in this is personal as well as communal. Aside from the security/surveillance cameras, which are aimed at the street outside, the outside door on Broadway, and the inside door, we found no electronic devices of any sort. KAJ is convening a committee of women that will meet tomorrow to further scrutinize the security and privacy arrangements of the mikvah, to make sure that all women in our community can use the mikvah without concern. If anyone in the community would like to discuss this further, she or he can reach out to me. --RPS
