From day one these cards have had problems off and on. I am sure the blogs will light up if this is a change on their part.
Unless it's only in Jewish areas. ;)

So far, I've heard Brooklyn and LA. Where else?

Correct. I have yet to hear of anyone having an issue activating in Lakewood.

Source?

Many people reporting that they can't activate in a nonparticipating store the past few days.  I haven't seen one report of someone being able to activate in a nonparticipating store recently.

Have you heard of anyone who was able to activate in Lakewood since Friday?

No, but with everyone in Brooklyn coming here and saying, "Oh no, I activated my redcard and it didn't ask for ID, what should I do", don't you think there would be done Lakewood people too if they were having issues as well?

IMHO, there are more n00bs in Brooklyn than there are in lkwd. that's why Brooklyn is having this issue, and that's why things in Brooklyn get killed faster than lkwd

I can vouch from personal experience 2 targets in New Jersey that had issues activating. This was already in the beginning of last week. When I spoke to the prepaid resolution team, she said three people called in today with exactly the same issue... Just sayin

Same nonsense they tell everybody, 7-10 business days it will be activated. (When she tried to activate it herself she got an error message).

yes after speaking to like 10 different people, it became pretty clear that once its messed up at the register your card is fried for good.
