Delayed Flight

International flight has been showing departure time delayed for an hour all day. Can I show up for check in an hour later or do I still need to get to the airport well before the original departure time?

Get there on time, I know peoples flights who said they were delayed but then left on time

My in laws are booked on AA3447 JFK-YYZ. What is AAs issue? Why do they schedule this flight for 8:30 when most of the times they end up either departing after 10:00 or just canceling the flight....

Severe weather with high winds in PM. Flightaware says JFK has 4 hours avg delay

Would LGA be better? I reprotected them on the 9pm flight from LGA, will that flight get canceled as well?

I  once came late due to a delay, and was told that check in times are according to original departure time, and therfore missed my flight. I sent an enquiry to the DOT and they replied that the airline was right, and if the delay is less then 3 hours, you still have to come according to the original time

and Ive had the exact opposite experience, I once arrived to the airport at the original take off time, and the gate agent was like "this plane left already" I told him it was delayed he checked and said np and even let us check bags, and I got on the flight

Basically we are on vacation in Fort Lauderdale and we have tickets booked on the JetBlue #706 (FLL to EWR) for Thursday night. There's a pending snow storm warning coming early Thursday morning in NYC.

The problem we don't want to be stuck here in FL for shabbos, what do you guys recommend I do? How do I know if it will be canceled? What are my options?

Call JetBlue to rebook for Wednesday evening. Usually they are pretty easy with changes when it cones to that kind of stuff.

We have a flight at 11:20 out of LGA on Thursday morning (DL 315). Assuming this storm is anything like they are saying it will be, there is no way that we are leaving then. I don't want to end up sitting in the airport for 6 hours, but I do want to leave on Thursday rather than just pushing off my flight a day.

Any suggestions?
