Amex requesting name on bank account
« on: October 21, 2014, 03:08:38 PM »
Just tried making a payment and they are requesting the name on bank account. I'm paying out of different bank, what should I do?

No one else has an issue with this? Amex redid their payment page and if you want to add a new account you have to give name. What should I do if funds aren't coming out of cardholder's account?

That is against to terms Amex puts on the payment page.  There's probably not much you can do.

Interesting.  I just added a new bank account and they didn't ask me for a name.  Seems like your account with Amex may be flagged.

Interesting. I checked it on a few different accounts, and it is different. Nothing to do with flagging accounts, it's just enhanced.

Can you remove the bank account?

Then just pay Amex as an ebill-pay from the bank account.

Are you joking?

Log into your bank account, add the Amex card that you want to pay as a "payee". Then pay. Most banks send the funds electronicly to Amex.

Which bank is the account with?
