Is there any benefit to holding off on the MSing for now, in the hope that the wave will pass and we can get back to work?
Probably not but I would consider applying for another BC while you can.
I just found a new supply of forks!

Why is that any better?
Because there won't be any abuse on the new card.

My current on is actually fairly new, and only had about 2K of MS on it.

What I don't get, is that if they are sensitive to MS now, why wouldn't they be sensitive to MS on a new card?

You can MS on the BC. We just don't know what level they will let us get away with.

Yes and yes.

I converted my card then tried to move my CL but they only allowed me to move $600, I called back and they said I need to wait 30 days to request to move more.
Do you think I should just close the account or wait for the 30 days to try to save my CL?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

If I only did 2K of MS on my existing BC, is there any benefit to using a new one over that one?

got it, thanks!
So is it smarter to wait for now, or to do some small-scale MS and see what happens?

I would start spending. If they are going to shutdown cards for a few k MSing I don't see the point of having the card anyway.

Sounds good. Guess I'll work slowly at first.

Thanks for the advice!

ie, better to get the new BC in that case which gives the practical 5x g/g/d?

if they blacklist future cc applications it might not be worth spending at all.
