And the bloodletting continues...

Already lost my BC account months ago...  Now just trying to hit the $40K spend at grocery stores on my Hilton Surpass card to lock in Diamond for another year and now get the message that the Hilton card is closed.   Bloody hell!  It's not like the category bonus of extra 3 points per dollar is significant.  Don't even need the points so much as the diamond status again, but, thought I'd earn extra points while doing so.

It seems it's not just that AMEX has become anti manufactured spend to the blue cash card specifically, but rather, in general.  Seems one has to tread lightly with these guys now.

Don't like how this sounds.

I'm planning on getting the card soon and doing the same thing.

$15.5K on the Hilton card for Jan.  Actually, that was it in total with all AMEX products.

Granted, when the BC card was still functioning I was 20X that... So, perhaps their tolerance for me to start dallying into MS on any of their products is quite low.

So $15.5K was NOT only on Hilton in Jan? What about ONLY on Hilton?

Ha, who wasn't at 20x that when BC was working well? :)
