Or they can just stop giving CB for GCs which is what their T&Cs say anyway. Wouldn't that just solve all their woes?
It seems that is not an easy one for them to do.

Not currently possible.

I meant cap it now with out closing any accounts. That would be better for everyone, no?

That would have been nice for those who exploited it.

But for people who use the 5% without buying GC, a cap is an unnecessary hindrance. So still not good for them.

This is a terrible day. I don't think I'll be able to afford to send my kids to private school anymore. I wonder if you can enroll in public school mid-year.

IIRC BCP is capped at 6k/yr for groceries. For non-Jewish families  :) that seems like enough.

Even so, what about G/D?

Why are they closing accounts?
Why not just change the program terms to make it less profitable?
Or discontinue the card and convert all existing cards to a different card.

IIRC G/D was lowered to 3% uncapped.

DDF is an infant in this game. Hope no one takes that in a negative way.
But the king is on DDF  ;)

Hard to see this not being capped just like BCP (which comes with a $75 fee to boot).
Enjoy it while it lasts, don't waste a pull on it.

Was still way worth the pull for people who were into this....

Not sure what your point is.

It was not capped, and it was the diametric opposite to "not being worth a pull."

I made more money with this card in 2-3 months than most of America makes in a year.

@mb1 - I will waste a pull on this type of card any day of the week. I will also put my earnings against the top mileage earner on DDF any day of the week.  ;)

Wasn't worth the pull because other cards were convertible to it.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
