I try to keep my CC balances low on the credit report (ala Dan).  Sometimes a payment posts at Chase after they already sent their numbers to the credit bureaus.  My credit score would still reflect the high balance even though I have a low balance.

Are you saying that if I make a second payment to Chase that brings my balance down to zero they will report a second time to credit bureaus?  Do they do this immediately or midcycle, 2 weeks later?
