In the e-mail that I got from them it says

" plus you’ll receive a $100 gift card so you can enjoy dinner during your Date Night at your choice of 3 top rated local restaurants."

Q: Is the $100 gift card only valid at the restaurant of my choice?
The Visa gift card is meant to be redeemed at the restaurant you have chosen. However, your card value can be spent according to your preference during the Date Night test drive experience. The $100 value is loaded on the card and must be activated prior to use. Activation instructions will be provided with the Visa card. If your dinner including gratuity exceeds $100, it is at your personal expense.

I made my appointment. There was no mention of any requirements how to spend the $100 gc that will be waiting for me when I pick up the MKC!

They give you the choice to go to one of 3 restaurants of their choosing OR a $100 Visa gc on the phone when you confirm your reservation. When you pick up the car they give you stay you chose to use while you have the car

Just signed up.
Got an email that was ambiguous as to whether I should call to schedule or wait for them to contact me to schedule.
So, I called program headquarters, and they checked and ascertained that my local dealership was no longer scheduling for date night. They would put me on a "priority list" for next year when they run this promotion again (I feel so special

).

I picked up the car yesterday and when I went to activate the GC it said it has $121 on it.

I did my test drive last week - what a great vehicle, and the reps were very easy to deal with. I also found that the GC had $121 balance on it. Transferred it to my RedCARD :-). Meant to post an update about that as well.

Maybe its for a 21% tip
