0.7 uk pence, not us penny. Plus you can only get 4,000 Avios at this price. For 60,000 it's 0.89 pence per point, bringing the price higher than what the value is for me (what I pay for a point).

According to my quick rough calculation its 1.6 each if you buy 60,000. Does that make sense?

If you use the IB portal you get 16 points per 1€ plus 100 points for first purchase. In order to use the portal you need to change country to Spain.
If you buy 60k you end up with 71920 for 745€ which is roughly $.011 per point.
If you buy 2k you get 2304 for a value of .9cpp

What do Avios normally cost? I know AmEx MR are around 1.5 and I assume Avios are cheaper.
