Travel Talk in this Week's Parsha
« on: October 28, 2014, 04:48:40 PM »
Rashi (13:3) brings down that on his way out of Mitzrayim, Avram stayed overnight at the same lodgings that he stayed at on his way down to Mitzrayim, which teaches us proper Derech Eretz to stay at the same lodgings so people shouldn't think we had a bad experience there the first time.

So every time we travel to the same place, we have to stay at the same hotel? ;)

But staying at the PHP and then the Regency is kind of a slap in the face.

Well if you become friends with the staff at a particular hotel you can pull great strings...

The whole Mitzrayim trip was just a mileage run?

He knew how to do it. He stayed free at every place on the way there.
If you don't care why would you comment?

The question is, If Avraham Avinu had miles/points to redeem, would he have stayed at the same inn?
