Using Delta Miles for other airlines
« on: August 25, 2008, 10:33:27 PM »
I have close to 100,000 Delta Skymiles (through my amex skymiles card) I just applied for the starwood cards and am working on accumulating enough for 2 round trip tickets NYC-TLV.
Can I use my Delta Skymiles on any other airline besides Delta or whatever airline/flight they offer when i search for reward tickets (usually air france)? and if yes how and what are my best options?

To be honest I am not sure exactly, I am still working on getting tickets through Delta but it might be worth having the flexibility of cash. Please make me an offer. Is 2.5cents fair? you can PM me.
How is a transfer done?

I think that you just have to give the other person the acces to your miles account not sure though.

As long as you are usually available to book (and the buyer trusts you with their $$$), the buyer can find award tickets and have you book them.
