Dans Deals Employment Agency Thread

(1/341) > >>

mancunian:
Hope this goes over well...

I think we're long due to have a thread about jobs, both for job seekers as well as employers. I know the shidduch thread didn't last long, and there may be as big a difference between job seekers & employers as there was between men and women, but it can't hurt, and i don't think the derech lichbosh party in this thread will give up as easily, maybe theres a bigger financial crisis than shidduch crisis? hopefully.

I'm not going to bore you just because I have your attention - Vaani Hamaschil:

I have 2 bochurim who need jobs - one full time & one part time (only one for each). The part time one is more qualified, a college student, and the full time one is very detail oriented & would appreciate doing hashgocho probably.

I also have a friend whos not necessarily religious, probably in his mid 40s, needs a job he cant screw up on, and not too high stress. Maybe a security guard?

Q274:
Is this not religious friend of yours interested in becoming more religious I know of a very successful adult kiruv center I can hook him up with

Good way to drag a thread off-topic.

Q274:
If you really feel that way please remove my response thanx

mancunian:
i'm not interested in him becoming more religious.
he's a bit depressed & unstable & could easily end up clinging to religion as an excuse for unhealthy mental conditions. he is in touch with lubavitchers, used to live in ch (was never religious), and even expressed a desire to move back to the ch area. i think he's doing just fine and as his life stabalizes bezras hashem he'll also find true meaning in religion.
for now, he puts on tefillin when he sees me, and sometimes on his own, and he does a considerable amount of jewish activities as he feels comfortable and i'm proud of him and don't think things need to be rushed any more than this.
feel free to attack me
