Btw for anyone in my boat that transferred points but didn't book, I had success w amex membership rewards support getting over 100k points back in a 24 hour turnaround.

I think there's a diff between a tiny edit to the script that ppl did as aeroplan knew that was easy to do and actually rewriting the code. They could have easily removed the ability to do a mc booking but didn't. I'm sure they knew ppl could change the button name to MC.

Whether they could or not have removed that logic is up for debate.  Proper coding takes time and clearly they made mistakes before and did not want to quickly release an even more problematic issue, so they temporarily blocked multi city. 

Taking advantage of a glitch is one thing.  Actively, doing something to cause the glitch is completely different.  As always ask your LOR. 

I also asked a shailoh about hitting the back button when you were already logged in (after they had disabled it for new logins) and was told that was ok as you werent doing anything unusual.  Modifying the script is doing something out of the ordinary.

Real cost is 105k + 75k = 180k.

Still a savings of 110k PP.

70k + $285 PP is amazing.

Reminds me of my dream last night that we got the new EY A380 on my AUH-JFK flight, and when I explained them how disappointed I am that with the new F I will not be able to sit next to my wife, the agent just told me "well, the residence is not occupied we can upgrade you to the residence"
