If the seller is based in china or the product is not fulfilled by Amazon let the buyer beware he may have to wait/fight for his money back, and the likelihood of it shipping is slim to none.

You know if you complain to Amazon too much and get too many credits, they will ban you.

I'm very serious.
why? if its a legitimate argument how can they do that. you know people who got banned for it?

They shut down his store.

Everyone who bought has to float the money until 9/20. Then let the chatting begin.

Not a problem for orders placed Within the hour you can usually cancel no problem since nothing processed.

Not if it's shipped already, which this scammer marked all his items as right away.

Anybody who ordered hopefully knew what what they were getting into, and isn't canceling right away...

Yeh a fake tracking number (likely just a reused one) is not hard to procure.

No need to be reused! He takes his finger and slides across the keyboard here goes the tracking number! The # goes into the system in 12hrs or so ,that buys him time to get 1000's of customers with only a purchase of 5-10$ and now has half the people who don't want to waist their time he gets the $ instead!

Sick of this crap that keeps on popping on DDF.
I RTM'ed but still not deleted.

Why do we allow the propagation of crappy Chinese scams here every day?
It literally takes 2 seconds to determine if its a scam or not, this crap has no place here.
There's no such thing as "there's nothing to lose" when dealing with these scammers.

There's plenty to lose:

1) Your money. It doesn't always come back. And you won't be the first nor the last.
2) Your time. Yes you will be wasting your time and energy for the next 2 months to get your $2 or $10 back
3) These deals often get shared with people that don't remember about their order that was supposed to delivered in 2 months. And it gets shared with people that don't know how to get their money back. So don't be a scumbag and don't share these scams with vulnerable people.
4) Your dignity. If you're dumb enough to fall for these scams you'll be too embarrassed to leave your home.

So please don't be an idiot, the next time you see a crappy chinese (price mistake) scam, ignore it or keep it to yourself.

On the flip side:

Yes. There isn't a 0.00000000001% chance that this will arrive. It's a straight 0%. This is a 1000% scam. The seller won't even cancel it, (and will mark it as shipped right away to prevent the buyer from cancelling it) making the process much more difficult.

That being said, this isn't eBay. Amazon does back up their sales to a degree. A chat rep looking at the order of a $20 or $50 item that didn't arrive in the proper timeframe will possibly be willing to provide a credit for the current price in order to be able to reorder.

Nobody should buy without knowing what they're getting into (and these warning should be made very clear), but that doesn't automatically mean that you're a fool for ordering.

+1 If someone doesn't know how to handle these type of cases, then just stay out of it.

I agree at most of the words you said. But why do you insist it's a Chinese scammer? Any evidence?
