For me it's seeing the wonderful world G-d had created, but also escaping the day to day life feels amazing.
I'm not so much the luxury hotel guy. If I just want to sleep, I sleep better at home.

Yup, in Istanbul, I was in a call-shop (a place you go to call international for cheap) and the guy tried to charge $20/min, so basically 1000x the advertised price.
He was arguing about the 000 which would often not be written as the money had a very little value back then (I paid $125 or 88,000,000 for an IST-TLV a week later).
I wasn't about to let go, so I said I'm going to the cops. This guy came along and was screaming his head off, and everyone in the street joined the parade. I was sure we would be lynched by the mob.
Somehow, I wasn't in the giving up mode, and as I've later realized by the cops (who said I was right), that this mob was actually supportive of me, as this shop owner was Kurdish, so they were excited someone didn't put up with his business practices.

Monument for Jewish victims of Moldova

It was raining, hence the low quality.

Chabad of Chisinau Moldova.
Apparently the shliach (which I have not meet, just passed away).
Looking at the stamps of the siddurim, one can see a bit the history of that country.

I liked the 'Con Bank' part.
At least they are being honest about it.

Alright, so I'm looking for people who could decide ultra fast, that want to climb a high high peak in the northern part of Latin America.
Travel data would be approx 23 Dec for a duration of 1.5 week.
No need to be overly fit, but must have a drive to continue.
A week is to get used to the altitude (while visiting stuff).
Main cost is getting there, once there cost are minimal.
Don't want to splash too much info here, but if someone is interested, then by all means.
Speed of decision is of the essence
