Not enough time to really have a good meal service on that flight.

Why not fly Air Koryo instead?

Can't seem to find a way to book online. Let alone an award booking.

But I agree Air Koryo would have more of a special experience.

AA has some amazing TATL availability right now in premium cabins starting from about September time.
MAD, FCO, LON, ZRH... have multiple dates with multiple seats open in business and first. You can even find space on the new 77W's and 767's.
There are even some scattered dates in the summer.
No TLV though.

Nice!

Saw yesterday on AA/BA availability on IB/AA in premium cabins. Aug 25/26 to be exact. But didn't think that its really open all along.. I think it was the first time I ever saw availability on AA LHR-JFK in J/F.

I'm booked in F and J in Mar, Apr, June, Aug and October.
It's interesting that they started to release those premium seats finally.
But I suspect that a devaluation is coming soon, otherwise they wouldn't have released.

I don't see the link,  if it had to do with the devaluation, why wouldn't they only released the space after the devaluation

Chap and Hershel, look, this does not work 1+1 = 2. AA does not know exactly when the devaluation is coming but they know that it is coming, they don't necessary have to wait until the deval is on to send a message to inventory management that they can start release more award seats, it is the policy that is slowly changing. Not everything has to happen in one day. And sometimes we get lucky because of that.

@smart, I tried explaining it the best I can ;) you do the rest.

I can't do any better :P
Since AA started flying the new 77w premium availability was non existent, suddenly the gates opened? Without any repercussions?

How is ZRH-TLV?
That's usually always available. NYC-ZRH / ZRH-NYC is the "rare one".
