Right but I just looked for fun for this coming week and there is nothing available for LX in J booking with AC

I know M&M has expanded award Availability but I want to book with AC

"almost always" is an oxymoron

But, yes - most of the time it will open a day before (although in rare cases it can happen that it doesn't).
