Does JL release 1 F seat close to departure like CX often does?
They definitely release more F seats close-in.
A quick BA search LAX-HKG from today through the end of the month shows nothing in either JL or CX for both J and F. Is that normal?
If you want JL then you should be searching to NRT and piecing it together afterward.ORD-NRT is probably better than LAX also.

IMO not rare, but will post if it helps anyone.10/21/2015, HKG-JFK, CX F, CX0830 (9:20am), 2 pax
Is SQ R really only rare for 2+? Even for 1 pax it never seems easy to see an "available" flight but merely wait-listed seats. If I really shouldn't post open SQ R space for 1 pax, I won't going fwd.
The other way around would be REALLY helpful.
