United Airlines auction site has a sections called two minute warning.
There are (or were) numerous options to uses miles for.
On such example is using miles for a whole suite (16 seats) in SF Vs. Seattle.

Up until a few minutes ago there were a bunch of NY Giants Tix, I snagged one. The section they are in sells for about $400-$500 on stub hub, and it comes with a parking pass.

Next week some Bears tickets and items will go up..
