just got an offer from Amazon to purchase Echo? Is it worth it to spend $100 on? Do i really need it??? Is it that cool that I will regret if I don't buy it??

Well at the very least you can sell it for more on Ebay. I bought it, haven't had the chance to play around with it much though. I think it $99 its not bad.

I got an offer, as well. I scanned eBay, looks like people are able to sell easily for over $140, so I'm going to buy mine.
Some are even offering for $250 or more on eBay, but I"m not sure people are actually buying at that price point.
