 Why not fly to LAX\SFO(Which has better availability then JFK) and pick up the A380 LAX\SFO>DXB and enjoy the longest A380 flight with a shower :)

Interesting that DXB-BKK-SYD-AKL/CHC involves two 5th freedom's on the same route.

Don't know of any other airline off the top of my head that has that.

It would be cool if someone can put together a wiki of the coolest fifth freedom routes out there perhaps sorted by nicest cabins/shortest/cheapest routes. A nice example would be Manchester to Munich on SQ's 777.
