I'm having trouble booking a passenger van far in advance. The only quote I got is from sixt for a 12 passenger van for $800/day for the date above. However, if I select a date within this year, the quote is around $160. I called customer service and they just said "its probably demand". Obviously that's not true, because any date in 2015 seems to be the really high price. Has anyone experienced this with Sixt?
Here is more info on what I am trying to do:
Pickup location: Miami or Fort Lauderdale
Drop Off location: Orlando
Pickup date & time: 8/15/2015 6 pm
Drop Off Date & Time 8/16/2015 6 pm
Preferred Car Size: 10 passengers, so a 10-12 passenger van would be best
Age (if under 25): over
Best quote: $800
