My Credit File Is Too Big To View!
« on: November 11, 2014, 10:27:19 AM »
Tried to view my Experian report online but the system said I would have to be sent my report number via snail mail.
Report number came but I still got an error message.

Called EX and they said it's because my credit file is too big and they'll have to physically mail out my report from now on unless it shrinks.
Rep was great though and helped me out on what I was looking to do anyway ;)

Anyone else in my boat?

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have heard of split files because of large CR's. I would say the rep is mistaken. Can you pull your report with any of the free sites.

Sounds counterintuitive. Shouldn't they want you to download big files instead of snail mailing?

I find it hard to believe that anyone else would be anywhere near your boat in this case.

What are you going to do when their systems can't hold your credit file anymore ?

Can't even view my dispute results online. This is actually annoying.
"We're sorry. We experienced a system problem and we are unable to provide your personal credit report for online viewing at this time. You may want to try again later."

In other news, my Barclays FICO TU is still above 800 even after a heavy churning month :)

Wish my AMEX EX was viewable.

Does that have to do with size or is there possibly something else going on ?

EX rep investigated and said it's due to file size and their online display limitations.

How many pages was the last report you were able to get online?
