But it's flaishigs!  :o
You use it as a random snack? Or as a 'meal substitute' ?  Only in the evening, or do you remember that you're flaigshig if you've had it mid morning?
One should always be flaishigs, therefore one never has to "remember".

On the list of things I've never said- "I'm not sure if I want to become flaishigs now"....

Your parents must have raised you right.  My kids almost shudder at flaishigs too early in the day.  A flaishig nosh is an interesting concept.
Lol.
I'm not such a dairy guy to begin with so I'd much rather be eating meat snacks than dairy snacks.

I found dehydrator sheets on line. (I don't find it now to link to it.)
I put them on my oven shelf and lay my fruit slices on them.
Turn oven to 200 F or so.  Keep oven door slightly open to allow moisture to escape.
Keep in oven 4- 8 hours, depending on which fruit and thickness.
It works.

Look on line for particulars.

I don't know what you consider cheap, there's one from Hamilton Beach for about $450-500, Culinary Depot in Monsey has it.

This is a good one.

I know that post is from 7 years ago, but it's still available and it has a 4.6 rating. I know nothing about dehydrators though, so I can't give a personal recommendation.
