Real ID
« on: April 27, 2021, 02:34:45 PM »
DHS will delay a requirement for air travelers to have Real ID-compliant forms of ID, pushing it back tto May 3, 2023 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Only 43% of Americans are currently REAL ID compliant, according to DHS officials. About 119 million of the 274 million state-issued Driverís licenses and IDs meet the stringent security requirements passed under The Real ID Act in the wake of 9/11.

Will they ever actually implement this?

Post in the right thread, please. This thread is superfluous and should be deleted.

To answer your question, you don't technically need an ID for domestic flights, can get asked validation questions and get on. Or say under 18 if that's your game.
