TLV-BKK
BKK-SYD
SYD-PEK
PEK-TLV
In Y and J
About a week and half in BKK and SYD and about 15 hours in PEK.
so whats the answer to OP's q?

J =

TLV-BKK = 30k AA
BKK-SYD = 30k UA (might as well fly TG F for 40k)
SYD-PEK-TLV = 45k AA

D93 is the pro with Israel-Asia (and other places  :) ) but in all probability via UA with a free stopover for RT travel

--

I see now you need 2 stopovers-Ignore

He needs 1 stopover and one connection. So he could use UA for 120k in J.

Correct.
But it's another option and he's not limited to fly via AMM on RJ.

Correct.

No need to fly RJ past AMM, he can fly EY and QR as well.

Need to fly from NYC to MAN in the beginning of July Y class. Using miles are my 2 best options AA and United? Which of the 2 is better?
