Any thoughts on best way to get from BKK to MLE? A oneway ticket is $450 in economy.

With Avios On Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong or probably better availability via Singapore with twice daily flights on Singapore air.

RT
Possibly ANA depending on how much you value miles Vs YQ

Wrong thread but all the reviews I've heard of VX are generally positive

Trying to help a friend book a trip using his points but not sure what his best point options are. His desired routing is JFK-ATH-JMK-JKH-JTR-ATH-BCN-IBZ-HKG-JFK.

Most of the inter-country flights can be bought for pretty cheap, so the the main question is what his options are for the long-hauls, which are JFK-ATH and HKG-JFK. He's pretty limited points-wise because he only has 120k TYP and about 10k MR so he was going going to book as many flights as possible with his TYP through the travel portal but figured I'd try to help him out. He'd obviously love to fly J/F, but more important is just getting as many flights for free as possible.

Thanks!

Trying to help a friend book a trip using his points...

Your first mistake.

His desired routing is JFK-ATH-JMK-JKH-JTR-ATH-BCN-IBZ-HKG-JFK.

Your second mistake.

Godspeed.

Yup, but already no saver space. He doesn't mind a stopover so found him something through Milan with a long stopover so he's probably gonna take it and go out and tour the city.

What's the best way to book Lufthansa for a US-TLV flight with no YQ?  United?  I know others are less miles but the fees are insane.  TIA!
