same here until recently

After reading a little bit,but looks like the only ways to get their miles is their USBank card or to buy their points (which can be very reasonable with bonuses) unless do you know of any transfer partners?

Any ideas for a cheap flight $$$ or miles for Sunday next week from YYZ to LAX (cheapest I found is: 300$ USD, or 15k on air Canada +120$ CND)

The flights I found that will work best for me is on Lufthansa . But I don't have enough united or Lufthansa points and on A/C the YQ is very Hugh. What would be my next best option ?

Long story short I can't help you unless you want to compensate me for my time.
you can't mix and match partners with Etihad partners.

you can book Lufthansa with avanica life miles, which can be bought from avanica for cheap at times.

They don't have non-stop but SQ is only 104,125 JFK-HKG (after 15% discount if only on SQ metal) or if you book another carrier JFK-SFO, they have a direct SFO-HKG flight that is only 70,125 in First.

Trying to figure out the best way to book GLA-NYC.

Whats the deal with the APD out of the UK? I thought it was levied equally no matter the airport of departure or destination.

Looking at ITA though I see that routing via DUB has the typical APD of over $100, but booking the legs separately brings the APD down to $19.

What gives?

Interesting, thanks.

My original itin was actually from INV, but then GLA started making more sense. Looks like they'd both be good options now.
