NYC - TLV round trip for Rosh Hashanah, what's the best miles /points to use? I have some of all.
$, miles won't help

I'm looking for 2 tickets NYC > HNL  first or business class
Sun, Jan 22 > Thurs Jan 26.

United has no saver award space, so 180K round
Delta has for 105K round
Hawaiian for 160K round

Am I missing something? What is my best option?

I've been waiting for over a month. Do you think it will open?
Is Delta first a decent option.  I'm willing to pay more to know I've got something.
What is Delta's award cancellation policy? (If united opens up)

Discount is only on SQ metal bookings.

There's no discount for partner bookings (or mixed metal + partner).

There's no discount for partner bookings (or mixed metal + partner) as it can't be booked online.
I knew that about the metal. So, can this be booked as 1 award? Do you put the JFK-FRA on hold and then when it clears, call up to add FRA-TLV?

Yes.

Not sure exactly how the hold works, but sounds about right.

Looks like you would have to have a long layover in FRA if you want to go to TLV with SQ

Delta first on the nonstop is very good.
$150 but you can get it waived with a sob story.
