SPG or buy it from AV, they often sell for cheap.

There shouldn't be, you can price NH online.
Call SQ

If possible to be booked as RT, shouldn't be any YQ.

DL only charges YQ on itineraries originating in the UK. NYC-LHR J RT is ~$250 in taxes.

Unless KE charges YQ on flights that DL themselves don't.

Besides for YQ, there's a EU "luxury tax" that DL charges (not just from the UK). CDG-JFK in J will cost $300+ in taxes/ fees.

That is YQ.

DL charges YQ on Ex-EU award tickets.

None of that really affects KE.

FTFY  ::)

Correct.
All YQ is a scam.

also whats the best program to book an lap child on delta

No I did not say that.
To be clear, for award tickets
Delta Doesn't charge YQ for tickets originating in the US and other places (except for SU, CZ, and MU among others)
Delta does Charge YQ for longhaul tickets originating in Europe on all airlines

None of Delta's Policies in this regard affect KE's

I do believe KE charges YQ on all Longhaul International Delta tickets.
I can be, and would like to be mistaken.

My point was, that Delta's policies, aren't mirrored by KE.

I don't know about lap children, I only just got married ;)

For their own flights it's 10% of miles.
For partners TPG says partner rules apply.
