Delta Comfort Domestic round trip flight $215 paid, 23k points + $12. Thats less than 1 cent per point, but I remember reading Delta points aren't worth much. Should I use the points once I'm booking a Delta flight or there are better values than this at Delta and I should use my points for something better? TIA!
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

That's an awful redemption. Don't do that.

Follow up Q: Delta sometimes has better award pricing than this? Does the award pricing get cheaper closer to and I should wait it out? Thank you!

JFK-LHR 1/26-1/31 (didn't do one way because that's not fair) is 140k+$253, or $5965, approximately 4cpp. This is in no way an amazing redemption, but rather quite standard.

Thank you. This is standard Delta - meaning you could even get better with Delta points? Also, you think I should wait to see if the Domestic flight goes down in points?

It's possible, Although it would depend on route/dates. dan has saved the delta award chart search it on ddms.

thanks, I checked that out. I'm just still not sure if the points price will go down. Do the award flight pricing change as the flight costs change or it stays the same?

It's unlikely the points price will go down. What itinerary are you looking at?

You can fly in Y for $117 on AA, not worth that kind of redemption for comfort plus on a 3 hour flight.
