This specific flight $600+. But the cheapest option was $379
So about even on the redemption vs revenue?

2.4 cents pm on UA is called even? You would have paid $300 instead of 12.5k? (The $80 I paid anyhow)

Yes although RJ has very low cash fares.

Uzbekistan is insanely cheap with cash (BP)

SQ is only 50k

I was actually thinking about that, booking RJ rev in Y & then bidding to upgrade to J, anyone familiar with that

Jfk-Syd on Quantas F
Is it still 70K Alaska (over the phone)?
and if the routing is showing JFK-DFW-LAX-Syd is it possible to change down the road if opens up direct to LAX etc?
(if availability showing on American but not anywhere else, is that reliable or most likely mistakes?)

Best way to book LH F US-TLV?

I used to transfer UR to UA and book T-2 weeks but recently canceled my UA club card which means id have to pay the close in booking fee.

Any better way to book LH F? I have UR and MR amongst others

If you have SPG, 50k transferred to A3 gets you LH F, but you pay YQ. Still cheaper than 115k (or whatever the new rate is) UA any way you skin it.

It's 140k+$110 (including close in fee) which is just obscene. I'd still go with SQ over A3 since the YQ will be the same.

The value is similar really but I'd rather save the SPG as SQ is just so much easier to come by.

Eventually you gotta use them somewhere. LH F aint a bad redemption to "waste" them on.
