I don't understand the question
why should I book with UA if I wanna fly direct? Isn't there a partner that I could book it for less?

I believe he meant UA as the actual flight not milage redemption.
A3 and Ac ar your cheapest option if booking the UA flight

Well I can't really get A3 with UR or MR...
What about SQ? Or anyone else? Nothing better than AC?

I was referring to the redemption as well.
CMIIW but both UA and AC are 30k, while UA has no YQ.
ETA: A3/OZ may be cheaper but he can't get them via UR/MR

+1
LH will be an arm and a leg there. And UA can really go either way, or to SQ as well.
AC on UA only.

Wide open availibility AA F JFK-LAX and LAX-JFK.
Should be bookable with IB for 96k RT.
J availablity is still quite scarce.

Didn't take advantage of the promo so I don't have excess IB. What's the best way to book this?

NYC-JNB or CPT in J or F. Was thinking about trying to Alaska miles for CX through HKG but wanted to hear people's thoughts? Is ANA on Etihad not available anymore?

Are you asking for the best product, or cheapest way to book?

For cheapest you can book SAA on AC or UA for J.
Is ANA on Etihad not available anymore?
it's not.
