Being that CX F is not available now, is there an easy way to book it in J and upgrade later?

JFK - DOH - HAN in J on QR

AA award would be two separate awards for $110K. For that price, I'd fly Transpac. I specifically want QR since the timing is good and Q suites sounds great too. Curious if there is another way.
