Is the cheapest / best way  LHR to NYC round trip
On american in business 100,000 american points round trip plus about $350 in taxes.
Or on united ANA points will be 63k round trip plus about $350 taxes.  ?

Question or a statement? ANA is the best option to LHR for UA

Right, I know that but if UA doesn't have space and AA does, what's the best way to book it?

Eco is the same  (12,500)
Business is the same (25,000)
First book with AA (32,500 vs BA charges 37,500)

However, within 21 days the $75 AA fee applies so you have to make your own calculations

If you find availability that's the best option. even in J would be good.

Probably 10k, or look for hidden city.
