From TLV one way to NY economy, BA has some off-peak at 23k miles plus $238 YQ. Comparing to Star Alliance, eg, OS where  its 42k using United miles, plus $75 taxes, the BA seems almost reasonable. Plus, at least for me, United miles are harder to accumulate.

Am I analyzing it correctly?

$139 from TLV-ZRH  I just now verified with them,I am in middle of booking a connection to NYC and I asked how much it would be only to ZRH.
