If he wants F it would 40k with CX on CX and 20k SQ on AC for J.
Y would be 12.5k BA on CX or 12.5k AC or SQ on AC.

Thanks guys. If UA has a flight available from ewr-yvr how can I book using MR?

Wanna fly

Winter 2016 NYC-LAX-NYC
Summer 2016 NYC-ZRH-NYC

Is there any way to combine those 2 trips (or the first leg of 2nd trip) into one booking -like stopovers and/or open jaws?

If anyone can link me to a post about how to maximize stopovers and open jaws i'd appreciate it.
I like vanilla but my name is Venilla.

I'm not an expert with this, but with United you can for sure combine you're second LA leg, with you're roundtrip flight to ZRH. (United gives a free stopover and 2 free open jaws). You will also be able to do this with any other award program that gives a free stopover, so if you do that you'll just have to get a one way NYC-LAX separately.

I know that's the cheapest route,  but there is no availability to be found. I was asking what's the best way to book on Aeromexico ?

If your willing to drive to PHL that should always be the next thing to check

otherwise UA, should be 25k
If you think nobody cares about you... just forget to pay your credit card bill
