How did you get that number of 7,850 for a direct delta flight ? I am getting about 30k UR for round trip.
It depends on the published price of the flight. For flights under $100, that should be the approximate amount of miles needed..

true, but for those tickets I would rather have the 7.5k UR, to most people its worth more then $100
If you think nobody cares about you... just forget to pay your credit card bill

K so maybe planning last minute trip to HNL, right noy only Y avail...
Obviously the way to book is singapore, now im willing to fly Y but if j opens up I'd jump on that
Is it possible to book now with Singapore and if J opens up jump on that (plan b type thing), or should i just wait?
Also would like real (at least 23 hours, if not more) SO (LAX or SFO) on return.
Is that possible with Singapore?

Currently have a flight booked with AS miles on AA metal from JFK-CDG, coach. Have enough miles (and willg et my AS back) to book biz on UA metal/Aeroplan miles, or delta 62.5k. UA is direct from EWR (i'm based in Manhattan) and the delta is on AZ, connects in FCO but leaves from JFK.

Which one is better?

Correct, it's cheaper, but I value my MR more so than delta... but the direct option is so enticing

Not exactly the right thread, but I'll reinterpret the thread title :)

Yesterday I booked an award TLV-PRG for a long weekend at the end of August, and saw there were cheap flights from Berlin to TLV on El Al (we'd take a train from Prague to Berlin), but when I tried to book that return today it turned out that it was phantom availability (thanks Moishebatchy!).

Is there any hope that something opens up closer in (either cheap award or budget ticket)? I searched on ITA from all the places that are relatively easy to get from Prague via train (Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Vienna, Katowice and Budapest). We'd want to leave Aug. 30 or 31st, and need to back by Sep. 1 (and can't get back then in the middle of the night).

Any tips appreciated.

I checked again tonight and it was lower. Thanks! Right now I've booked Pegasus via SAW on Expedia (24 hours cancellation) before taking the path of no return with Wizzair (want to double check with the wife when she's awake).

Hey guys.

I'm flying to the Dominican Republic for Sukkos and was wondering if there was a way to do it using points.

I'm looking for a non stop flight as it's only 3 hours long and I'm looking to pay completely using points. I have AA, BA, UR, etc...

Prefer to fly to POP airport as it's a lot closer, but can also fly to STI if necessary. Prefer business class, but willing to fly economy if necessary.

I'm flying out on Erev Sukkos, Sept 27, and I'm coming back on Hoshanah Rabbah, Oct 4.

I've tried looking through the various sites for options, but so far haven't had any luck.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

I'd really appreciate any help you guys could give. Thanks!
