Is it one reservation or two?

I'd need to book one piece on AA and one on HA but I thought they can put it on the same reservation and as one ticket. No?

Booked with?

It would be JFK-LAX w/ AA and LAX-OGG w/ HA.

Can AA add those legs together into one ticket/one reservation?

Since 9/1/15,  AA can't book HA from the mainland to Hawaii.

So if it'll be 2 separate tickets, 1h15 is cutting it too short?
