JFK-PTY-GRU on Copa

Any other options

Tried adding a leg Sao paulo- IGU   seems to price as 55k UA too, but ua.com gets stuck half way.

Looking to go to MLE in July/Aug.  Am booked on EY-F for the return via AUH.  Am looking for a nice F product for the way there, with a stopover for a day or two in either HKG or SIN (or somewhere comparable) in J or F.  What are the best options to consider?

Fly SQ and add a stop in SIN for $100.

Am guessing its best to wait for close-in availability... or book in Y now and wait for F or J close-in?

No F availability (shocking I know) and no opportunity to waitlist - atleast not online...  best to just keep checking?

Trying to plan NYC-OGG for someone. They only have AA and MR.

Is the best way of doing this: JFK-LAX (J/F) on AA and then LAX-OGG on HA?

Seems like for 47.5k AA I can do JFK-LAX-PDX-OGG in F vs JFK-LAX 32.5k AA in F + LAX-OGG 20k HA in Y.

I'll probably just do that for QR, since I'm leaving DOH on QR it'll let me take their tours.  No decent options through Europe that have good availability and <100k for F?
LH F has good availability a week out, and is 75k with Singapore and Aegean, plus a few hundred bucks yq.

They have availability now (I booked a J ticketed to MLE with a SIN stopover at the end of August) but if they don't have full F or J availability the whole way it won't show so look on the SQ site for each leg.  For example my last part from SIN-MLE didn't have J so it wasn't showing but when I called they let me book the whole thing in J and just that one leg Y (which I was fine with to have all the exact dates I wanted and it's a short flight).  We are also leaving from LAX and returning to SFO in order to get J because when I added in the last leg to Denver nothing was showing, so it may be worth it to search for those separate segments and then find a separate United flight home from those West Coast Gateway cities and when you call they can put it all together for you.

BA.com
Thanks. I guess the dates I'm looking for just don't have availability. Does LAN release a lot of award space to in general?

Did you have immediate availability or did you waitlist?  What's the likelihood of suites opening up during waitlist period?  What happens if you don't clear?

Your points are not subtracted until you confirm booking so if the waitlist never clears, nothing changes.

There is no known rhyme or reason for which waitlists clear and which don't but at least you can go and check from time to time how many seats are still available on a given flight.

Thanks.  Presumably you would need to have the points in your account to WL for a particular flight...

You need to have enough miles for the flight -with the highest amount of miles required- in your account.

I see flight on AC rt yyz tlv on their site and EF but not on  ANA. Does AC have different availability for their members?
