Isn't txl part of the EU ?
Yes. And I meant EU as Europe BTW and not as the European Union.

or as low as 4k BA + $40 around :)
True, but that would mean that you're spending a few more bucks on your TLV-Europe ticket. :)

Understood.
The original question was what's the best way to book tlv to txl. So what is the difference between the original answer from d93
TLV-DUB in Y or J
Y = 17.5k BA on AB via TXL
J = 21k a3/22k LH/25k SQ on *a

And doing a ticket to eu and then to txl ?

The original question was TLV-DUB and not to TXL. Also, I was suggestiing to buy a cash ticket to anywhere in Europe and then get a cheaper award flight from there. There are several destinations in Europe that you can fly to from TLV for under $50.

Where can I find Dan's chart of all current Singapore award rates. It was on DDMS but I can't find it. (I think it was comparing with some other point currencies).

Is there such a chart for ANA too?

D93 is the pro with Israel-Asia (and other places  :) ) but in all probability via UA with a free stopover for RT travel

You're going to stay in BKK for a week and a half? Why not see other parts of Thailand?

I'm almost positive "BKK" doesn't refer to the city Bangkok, rather the country Thailand, and he'll book intra Thailand flights seperately.
