I made a mistake back then by booking via NH.. Due to infant costs..
Use the United callback #. They are pretty good.

"Checked baggage allowance for children

The standard checked baggage allowance applies to children with purchased tickets, including infants traveling internationally on 10 percent of an adult fare. If a child’s baggage allowance is exceeded, the excess will become part of the fare-paying adult's baggage allowance. All standard checked baggage restrictions and service charges apply."

basically you do get 1 bag
What about an infant booked via an AC award?
And would the one bag be 50LB or the 70LB J class limit?

70lbs + $100 infant fee

I meant to ask: is an infant booked via AC miles included in the "including infants traveling internationally on 10 percent of an adult fare"?

I am not sure how you reached your conclusion: If the infant in lap gets regular Y class allowance then that is 1 X 50Lb. If he gets J class allowance, then that is 2 X 70LB.

What makes you say 1 X 70LB?

Where do I say 1x 70lbs? You asked 50lbs vs 70lbs.

I was talking about my case so I was thinking 1 bag. When you pay $100 with AC for your infant they are considered a lap child business passenger & they will get 2 bags 70lbs ea. Hope this is clear enough

Yes. Thank you.
Are you sure that when paying the $100 on AC the infant has the same category as having paid 10% on united?

Yes, one charges $100 & one charges 10%. Different structures. Same result

Book an open jaw with ANA EWR-TLV * VCE-FRA-EWR for example & buy a cheap ticket from TLV-VCE.
Something like that.. You can play around with the return...
