Always like that. I had the same thing when booking PG flight. Just gotta call partner airline to have infant added to res and pay taxes.

Etihad, 21,972 in Y RT & 36,620 in J RT + $95 in taxes for travel on SN.

Its an amazing redemption, maybe the best value in the industry
Which points transfer to Etihad? How difficult is it to book?

also, but Citi TYP are worth less than SPG.. However if you transfer in multiples of 20k it may be worth it. depends how many you have, how many you need etc

But if using to book Etihad flight, might wanna transfer SPG to AA, AA is cheaper for flying Etihad.

I think this belongs in this thread.

I am trying to help a friend figure out what the best value for his UK Amex MR points is.
Their airline partners are: SQ, EK, AZ, BA, ETIHAD, ASIA MILES, DL, AY, FLYING BLUE, IB, SK & VS.
His main usage is for Y class, LHR - NYC/ORD - LHR
What's his best option? Bear in mind that sometimes he'll be doing trips with an infant in lap.
What comes to my mind is:
VS (for times (like now) when they're running a sale.
SQ for a 20k OW redemption on UA (is that accurate for NYC and ORD?).
Anything else useful come to mind?
Anyone know what VS infant prices are like?

NYC-MEX on AM via FB 25k RT

right now (winter) its 40k RT via AA miles (BA metal). Unless I am mistaken LAN is 100,000 RT in Y + no YQ.
