Thanks just read this on the Quants website.

Note: Classic Flight Reward bookings can only be made on Qantas (QF) codeshare flights operated by WestJet when connecting to or from a Qantas international service.

Right,  but I'm not sure how enforced that is. Canadian blogs implied not so strict IIRC

52.5k LH, 45k A3, 57.5 SQ. All roughly $250 in YQ give or take a little.

Best availibility though is with LH by a long shot.

What is the best way to book an international fare...with VX or JB points?  Vague, I know.  Don't know where I want to go yet.
IOW, which ones should I not waste on domestic travel?
Which are worth more VX or JB?

Check all airlines for Availability. SQ, IB, AF, AZ, and the LH group Release more seats to their own members then partners, so check those Individually, and then Also check across all three Alliances, thats all
