+1. Additional options are: CSR, or Wells Fargo.

On the way there going with Emirates so was looking for a different route (perhaps thru Brazil)
Any miles are fine. (high rated first class only ;))

I haven't posted in a while but i am trying to book something thats way too complicated for me and could really use some help. I appreciate any consideration.
currently have 180 SPG, 350 UR, 140 MR, 100 Avios, 30 DL. I haven't really churned in over a year and could open some other cards if need be.
I am flying with my wife and an infant.

Based out of NY flying biz or first
1. I plan on being on thessaloniki for Pesach (4/9 - 4.19) (and would enjoy a stopover somewhere in eu for shabbat so leaving time is flexible)
2. I plan on being in Guangzhou, China 4/23 - 5/7 (Flights into Hong Kong work as well)
3. 5/7 to leave china to NY (stopover anywhere for a few days would be nice but not needed)

Is there a cheaper way then booking 1 and 2 separate?
so far the best i could come up with is
1. JFK -> ORLY 4/5  Air France Biz (62K each)
2. ORLY -> SKG 4/9 ryan or wizz (paid)
3. somewhere in EU to China ? (maybe cathay from Basil?)
4. HKG -> JFK 5/7 Korean Air Biz 80K with a stopover in Korea (maybe go to jeju)

1/2) Shabbos in France is nothing special or worth subjecting yourself to Wizz for. Spend it in Athens and then go to SKG after via either land or cheap flight. *A J can be had for around 40K I think with OZ and CX.
3) Theres not much in SKG so assuming you want to go somewhere else between there and CAN why not take a short hop over to TLV. Being there will also make the next flight significantly less miles.
4)Not sure about that route but im pretty confident there are cheaper options.

50k AS (CX J direct).

Transfer from SPG using the info here for a really great deal (31k SPG = 50k AS).

It used to be 100k OW. They devalued Emirates in March and doubled the cost of this route.

JAL
If showing availability on Alaska then call JAL? Would JAL put the ticket on "hold" awaiting the miles to be transferred from SPG?
