Considering a trip late October NYC to HKG (Canton Fair)
Now looks like (at least on DDF) that flying CX would be the best option.
Upon checking on Awardhocker i see,

a) 100k AS miles, SPG
b) 135k CX miles, MR or SPG

Don't have (at this point) enough SPG only have enough MR but also have enough UR for 140k UA.
TIA for your help!

How many SPG do you have 40k will get you 50k Alaska for one way and then actually Singapore might be a good option.  They have a non-stop SFO-HKG that isn't that many points, or use CX miles from MR on the way back, 67.5k OW in J is still a great deal.

Even when you call? It never shows on their website. I have heard that they get one seat less than what is on the CX website.

1 seat less then what BA/QF shows, only for Business. IINM CX sometimes has extra award availability not available to partners.

You could also book CX with AA Miles
KE is a decent option too and if you are flying for Canton Fair you could fly into CAN
with KE it will be 62.5K in J and 80k in F OW

You don't have many options as the earliest flight you could make is 930. I'm looking for flights that night too. NYC-VIE-KBP. Resigned to taking AA to LHR at 10:29 in economy and working from there. NYC-LHR is a short flight.

Don't think other partners could book Mint. Biz BP with 50% back is the best option.
